As Monday marks the start of school for many of our sites, our amazing staff has been hard at work preparing beautiful environments in which children will grow and flourish. Last week they participated in professional development focused on social and emotional well-being, optimal learning environments, and intentional, robust curriculum – the bedrock of our programs.
Seed613 is a seven-month fellowship that empowers female-identifying Jewish teens to work together to identify challenges in the community and create meaningful solutions. Applications for Cohort 9 (2024–2025 school year) due by October 9.
Join us for the 3rd Annual SunriseWALKS Chicago, a community walk to raise funds for Sunrise Day Camp-Chicago, the only 100% FREE full-summer day camp for children with cancer and their siblings! Then after the walk stay for Fall Fest and enjoy fantastic family fun complete with lunch, inflatables, arts & crafts, live music and more.
It’s the feel-good event of the season! Inspiring individuals to use their voices and talents to make the world a kinder, more inclusive place. Featuring Shoshana Bean, Grammy & 2x Tony Award Nominee, Rachel Barton Pine, Chicagoan & Concert Violinist, Edwin McCain, Singer-songwriter & Top 40 Artist, performances with Violins of Hope and special guests.
