Spring is (almost) in the air, which means that a week off from school is quickly approaching. JCC Chicago has great programs, trips and events to keep kids, teens and the whole family busy and having fun.

You don’t have to travel to Florida to go swimming over Spring Break! Just head to the J for Family Swim on Saturdays and Sundays. Or, spend quality time with your little one in the pool for an hour on Tuesdays and Fridays.

American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification

Strong swimmers can earn lifeguard certification at the J. This popular certification is necessary for many aquatics-related positions and recommended for other jobs where water safety is a concern
School’s Out with Apachi

Apachi J Camp makes days off from school easy for you and awesome for your kids. We’re bringing a taste of summer to Spring Break with fun-filled days at the J. Every day has a different theme and is filled with activities in the gym, games, art and swimming.
Hall of Fame Road Trip
Chicago, Cleveland, Cooperstown, Canton

Chicago-area Jewish teens journey by coach bus to visit Halls of Fame, including Rock & Roll, Pro Football and Baseball, along with Niagara Falls and smaller attractions along the way.

Have fun, meet other Jewish teens and explore a new interest. At BreakAway, you choose a specialty that interests you – tree house building, community service, wilderness adventure, sports or cooking.

Babysitting Training Class

Apr. 8 | 11-15 Years
This American Red Cross course gives tweens and teens the knowledge and confidence to care for infants and school-age children using video, activities and hands-on skills training.
