Standing in Solidarity with GLSEN Day of Silence
The GLSEN Day of Silence is a national student-led demonstration where LGBTQ students and allies around the country—and the world—take a vow of silence to protest the harmful effects of harassment and discrimination of LGBTQ people in schools.
As an agency, JCC Chicago will be joining the GLSEN Day of Silence on Friday, April 14 in our commitment to ensure inclusivity and acceptance, and to demonstrate support for those who experience mistreatment.
As our social media channels will be dark, we encourage you and your family to review resources from GLSEN about the Day of Silence and how you can create change.
JCC Chicago is proud to be a member of the Safety Respect Equity Coalition (SRE), an initiative dedicated to meaningful change in Jewish workplaces and communal spaces by proactively addressing harassment, discrimination and inequity.
